Good afternoon Wildcats,

I hope everyone had a terrific weekend! It's almost time to "fall back" as this will be our last week on Daylight saving time with the clocks switching back 1 hour next Sunday, November 2nd. With Halloween being this Friday, please make sure to review our costume guidelines below. 

CIF playoffs continue for Girls Volleyball and Flag Football as both teams advance to quarter finals. Girls Golf will also begin CIF Individual qualifiers. Go Cats!

The West Ranch Wildcat Marching Band & Colorguard kicked off their competition season in style at the Battle of the Bands at Moorprak HS this past Saturday! πŸ’™πŸ”₯

Girls Tennis is League Champs

Congratulations to our GIRLS TENNIS team on finishing Foothill League play as undefeated League Champions! Congratulations also go out to Junior Ta'leighah Saulter on being the first West Ranch HIgh School Tennis player to finish league play with 32 sets played and 32 sets won- all 6-0. This is a first in West Ranch history! 🎾 Congratulations to Ta'leighah and the entire tennis team on an outstanding season!

Drug Prevention and Awareness Symposium is Wednesday October 29th at VHS

Don't miss this vital community event. Designed for parents, students, and educators, you’ll hear from a powerful lineup of speakers: medical and treatment experts, law enforcement, and individuals sharing their stories of recovery. More than just presentations, participants will receive life-saving training during a Narcan demonstration, get a free Narcan kit to take home, and connect directly with local support services at our community resource booths. Speech & Debate News 
The new season of Speech & Debate competition is now in full swing. League Fall Tournaments began October 4 with Congressional Debate at Hart High School and concluded last weekend at Burbank High School.

Additional kudos to Aaditri Sen and Yimeng Yuan. Aaditri placed in Third Place Prelims for Original Oratory Speaking at the Gabrielino Screamin Eagles Speech Invitational.

 

Finally, last weekend, Aaditri scored Fifth Place in Original Oratory Speaking and Yimeng took Fourth Place, Extemporaneous Speaking, at the Cal State Fullerton Middle and High School Invitational.
