THIS WEEK AT WEST RANCH
April 29th through May 3rd

Principal’s Message: April 28, 2024

Good afternoon Wildcats,

We had an amazing time at LA Center Studios yesterday for Prom. Our students had fun dancing, playing games, and socializing with friends and classmates. We appreciate all of the support of our students, parents, and staff who helped make this event successful.

This week we begin celebrating the Class of 2024 with our Senior Student breakfast and Senior Awards on Wednesday, May 1st. We are getting down to the end of high school for our Seniors and continue to encourage them to Finish Strong! We will send out reminders for Senior Awards with updated information now that we are hosting a home volleyball playoff game.

Have an outstanding week!

Sincerely,
Robert Fisher
Principal, West Ranch High School

Soluna is one of the many supports our district has in place to ensure students have access to support. If you have questions or if you feel your child needs further support, please contact Miss. Tabitha, our School Social Worker at [email protected] See attached for more information.

AP Exams
AP Exams begin May 6, 2024. For more information regarding testing locations, testing policies and procedures, attendance, and dismissal times, please visit WR's AP Exam Info Website or email kwatanabe@hartdistrict.org. Thanks!

Congratulations to our CIF Academic Champions!!!
The Boys Varsity Volleyball and Boys Varsity Tennis were both selected as Academic Champions this school year. This award is not judged by wins and losses on the respective sporting field, but instead, is determined by the compiled grade point averages of the entire team’s roster.  Hard work is responsible for success either athletically or academically.  Our team’s success in the classroom is something that each member should be very proud of. The Boys Volleyball team was awarded for their 3.80 team GPA while our Boys Tennis team was awarded for their 3.951 GPA. Both teams were recently recognized on field at Angels Stadium and will have a banner hung in the West Ranch gym. Congratulations to all!

Congratulations to the Boys Volleyball team on the CIF-SS Division 4 playoff win against North on Saturday 4/27. The Wildcats won 3-0 and will now host a quarterfinal game on Wednesday May 1st vs. Paraclete.
