Good afternoon Wildcats,
Happy Cinco de Mayo! This week kicks off AP testing for our students and we wish them all the best. Their dedication and hard work will surely shine through.
This week we will celebrate Staff Appreciation Week! Students are encouraged to thank a staff member of their choice this week. We are grateful for our Staff and the partnership we have with our parent community. We appreciate the parents who have volunteered or donated to make this week special. It's not too late to donate, if interested, please contact PAC President Amy Bibby at [email protected].
Congratulations to all of our athletes who qualified and are still competing in CIF. Our Boys Volleyball team will compete for the CIF-SS Division 4 Championship against Valencia. The date, time, and location is to be determined.

AP Testing Starts this week
AP Exams begin May 6, 2024. For more information regarding testing locations, testing policies and procedures, attendance, and dismissal times, please visit WR's AP Exam Info Website or email [email protected]. Thank you to all the parent volunteers who will help us administer the 2100 exams for our school.

Counseling Information for Juniors
Juniors!!! Please keep an eye out for an email from your Counselor on Monday Morning! Counselors will be starting their Junior Grad Checks. Over the month of May, Counselors will be meeting with every Junior to review their transcripts and ensure they are on track to meet their post high school goals. In order for the student to set up a meeting with their Counselors, the student must fill out the WRHS Graduation Check Form in advance. This meeting is required so that we can finalize course requests for Senior Year!
May is Mental Health Awareness Month
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a national observance started in 1949 by Mental Health America to bring attention to the importance of mental wellbeing. Across the country, individuals and organizations step up to raise awareness of and help address the challenges faced by people living with mental health conditions. We will have different activities throughout the month to support these efforts.
- On Monday, May 6th at brunch, ASB will be handing out green bracelets and encouraging students to wear green. Therapy dogs will be on campus
- Tuesday, May 7th at lunch
- The Wellness center will be open all week except for Tuesday (5/7)
- The district has also partnered with Soluna. Soluna is a free, confidential mental health app that can provide support to students across the district. Soluna is one of the many supports our district has in place to ensure students have access to support. If you have questions or if you feel your child needs further support, please contact Miss. Tabitha, our School Social Worker at [email protected].
President Biden proclaims May 2024 as Jewish American Heritage Month
